A woman in a green velvet outfit at an evening sangeet, wearing a rose gold-tone stone collar necklace with matching earrings

✦The edit

Sangeet & mehndi

made to dance in

The sangeet is the night for colour and movement. Choose earrings that swing when you dance and a set that catches the light, then let the outfit do the rest.

All edits
With a lehenga
Wear the full set. Keep the hair up so the earrings show, and skip a second necklace.
With a sharara or anarkali
One statement pair of earrings is enough. Choose a long drop to balance a high neckline.
For the mehndi
Go lighter and brighter: petal or pearl-look drops sit well with green and yellow.
